Things My Garden Has Taught Me

Patience.

My husband bought me this magnolia tree for my 30th birthday. I am now 38 (almost!) and it has finally decided to bloom....

Good things come to those who wait. Sweet anticipation of my lovely tree peony....

Sometimes more is better.....

Yellow and blue go smashingly together....

Smells can bring floods of memories....

You don't have to be flashy to be beautiful.

Delight in the small things.

Grow on sweet garden, grow on.

Such lovely flowers. I wish I had more of a green thumb. Flowers and plants are such gifts of nature.

Jenn,

It looks beautiful! I love that peony bud...moreso because I know how you love them. We have a patch in the front yard but not a bud yet!

Aren't you farther North than Minnesota? Do I need to get out my map?

xo,

So true about smells! I got a whiff of Honeysuckle a few days ago and was immediately six years old again. It's all I can think about now... honeysuckle!
