My husband says I have a vintage button magnet in my head. Everywhere I go I find them. I have to buy them. Then I sell them on my etsy shop and then I find more at thrift stores, antique stores... its crazy. I love them but my house will soon be overflowing with cute vintage plastic buttons I tell you!! Have a happy weekend!

Winter Pastimes
Lately, I have been drawn to needle and thread while sitting in front of the TV at night after a long day at work. I don't really have any plan in mind... I just keep reaching for whatever supply might be within reach.... Here is my latest little fabric collage.... most of these art supplies were purchased from the fabulous Julie Collings. www.juliecollings.etsy.com I am definately in a sequin and embroidery thread phase. I enjoyed the results. I will likely turn it into some kind of valentine.

Love your vintage buttons, and how you incorportate them into your sewn cards. Lovely way to make use of them.

your card is just gorgeous...one of the many things on my very long to do list is to incorporate some fabric into my paper pieces...some day, for now i will just enjoy looking at yours:)

Thank you for the comment. Your collections of buttons and the pieces you make are just wonderful.
I have also got myself a new background, thanks to you!
So funny that hens teeth has commented right above because I was going to say, no kidding, I have been doing the same thing with a little needle and thread in front of the TV, and it was inspired by some darling collages that I saw hens teeth doing a couple of days ago! I love yours with the soft blue with a pop of orange!
