Your so correct!, I love the handwriting too, nothing is the ways it was years ago. How sad the way we are losing to many great forms of arts!

beautiful handwriting.. I do love Calligraphy. Don't know of a good book.. I also love the quilted heart in your post.. so sweet.
That's just stunning! Can you imagine writing post it notes to coworkers in this kind of script - they'd be treasured!

I picked up a calligraphy pen at my local arts and crafts store (in the art section) last summer. And have play with it over and over again, but I have yet to be able to create "beautiful" script.
Lovely writing. Something I do not have by any stretch of the imagination. My Mom had the most lovely writing. She also had the habit of doodling on paper all the time. Even her doodles were lovely. I must take after my Dad in the script department.

I love love the old writing and have several books now on calligraphy, but have not worked on it yet. Maybe my new purchases will be just the inspiration!
