I know, I'm sorry. What have I been doing? Bit of this.... bit of that.... not much. Not really sure where I went. I've got the three munchkins busy at hockey which keeps mom busy and tim horton's busy too! Cannot go to the arena without coffee.... I've been here and there... collecting this and that.....

Sewing a little.... journalling a little.... dreaming a little....

Maybe dancing a little....

Time just kind of got away from me... and its kind of nice..... just to just "be" for a while. You know what I mean? I haven't forgotten you.... and thank you to those kind souls who checked in on me.... just to nudge.... make sure all is well.... it is. Thank you.

T. McFayden's Journal of Interest

I joined up for Teresa McFayden's Journal of Interest E-Zine. I really enjoyed last summer's journalling e-zine and this one is great too. Lots of fun tecniques to try and things to think on.

I was already having a great time when Pam Garrison came along to share a tutuorial too! Love her work and the fact that she doesn't mind sharing her ideas. If your the least bit interested in art journalling... you will love this e-zine.

Bittersweet

It is with much joy that I spend time with my "middle" child... just she and I. Her softness, innocence, giggles, and unique personality make my heart sing.

My oldest daughter is away at sleepaway camp. I miss her like I would never have imagined. I think of her every third second and wonder what she is doing - is she warm enough, is she having fun - does she miss home? Is it Friday yet?

Latest flea finds.... gorgeous old lace. This unopened package is from the now defunct Canadian department store, Eatons. Can you imagine getting 12 yards for 25 cents? I wonder if that was expensive at the time? It is very pretty trim... not sure that I will be able to open it though. Silly me.

Very pretty, tatted, old quilted pillowcases which I plan on taking apart and re-making into something else.

Gorgeous velvet ribbons in pretty shades of sky blue...

Cute little china candleholders. I found these at a thrift store for $1.50. Sweet.

Old box from Japan.... really loving the aging design on top....
