Botticelli 1445-1510

I wanted to share with you some paintings by my favorite artist..... Sandro Botticelli. This past weekend I became lost in a book by Chiara Basta which highlights the artist and his work. Even though my heart belongs to vintage fabric and trims, glitter, sparkle, and whimsy..... these paintings really make me feel..... I am sure you will recongize some or all of them.

    Just gorgeous! I've had the priveledge of seeing the Venus De Milo (spelling) in person, Florence Italy. We were there on our honeymoon, and it was just gorgeous!
