The News from my Backyard

Take a look at what has been happening in my backyard! I hate to say it out loud in case it goes away.... but I think spring has finally come to my little Canadian backyard! Those eggs are Canadian Geese eggs. Mama Goose wasn't too happy that I wanted to photograph her nest but she quickly settled in again once I backed off. The frogs in my pond sing the most delightful lullaby each night. I don't think I could sleep without their song right now! My daughter asked me what my favorite season was. I told her it was spring.... and these pictures are the reasons why..... but ask me again when the peonies bloom and I might have a different answer!!
